folks, with a lot of effort I got to know the case number of my AEC filed during mid 2001 ( P2002-XXXXX ) (EB3 RIR)
my company did not respond to the NOF due to lack of hiring and layoff's in the company... and then their policy is not to share the case number with the employee...

a standard answer that 'the application will be denied and has been denied' is being given by the HR.

what all can I try to get the status of this application... I have tried to email info@dallas BEC address and they wanted more info and currently awaiting their reply..

what would be the result of such an application? when NOF has not been responded to...

if a case has been denied..will there not be any paperwork from the SWA that it has been denied? or can this case get remanded and go as a TR case (non RIR)?

if anybody has faced something similar let me know... thanks!

Keep an eye on the military appropriations bill Congress is working on for a potential immigration piece. The AP reports that Republicans want some serious money and personnel commitments for the southern border. And my own sources are telling me that some Democrats are looking at trying to get the DREAM Act in that same piece of legislation. Remember, DREAM allows for some who join the military to pursue permanent residency so it would be a germane part of the bill. A down payment on comprehensive immigration reform? Or the end of that effort and the return to piecemeal legislating?...

I am looking for some feedback how is FexEx based in Memphis for joining on Ac1. How easy or difficult is to get a H-1B sponsorship and a new green card sponsorship etc ? How is their immigration lawyers ? I would also appreciate any other feedback on FedEx as an employer.

Here is my scenario...

1. Applied my first EAD thru some lawyer (hence G-28)
2. I am planning to renew it on "my own"

Can I renew EAD without Attroney help... I know the answer "YES" but the main question is... do I need to inform USCIS saying that I want to withdraw my lawyer's and hence G-28 which was filed along with my first EAD?

If anyone are sucessful, please help me...My question is not on how to self apply EAD..My question is whether we need to inform USCIS about G-28...

Who is the best immigration attorney out there to deal with a cross-chargeability case? (Need to claim cross-chargeability based on Spouse's citizenship on an already filed I-485 case).

Any first hand experiences with attorneys like Rajeev Khanna, Murthy, Ron Gotcher etc?? Or is there anyone better (in terms of paying proper attention while filing & being reachable in case of any RFEs etc.,) out there?

Please suggest!! Any personal experience with one of the above mentioned attorneys would be really great!!

My uncle just received his L1 extension receipt. Lawyer was late in filing the L1 extension, but supposedly got everything ready and mailed it 2 days before the L1 expiration date.

However, my uncle received recepit for L1 extension, and received date is 2 weeks after the expiration of original L1. Please note I am talking about RECEIVED DATE (not Notice date or receipt date).

Does this mean extension will automatically get rejected based on late filing? Is there any recourse to this?

More importantly, Is my uncle Out of Status now? (He doesn't have anything else going besides L1)

Please let me know as soon as possible.
